Dear ULYSSES User,

the *.exe files, that you can download here will install ULYSSES on your PC. 


The other files you can find here are intended to help you getting started to work with ULYSSES.

To new Usesr, Demo-User

In case you are not a licensed ULYSSES user already, you may use ULYSSES in Demo Version mode after you installed it to your PC . The Demo modefeatures the same functionality as the licensed mode, but there is some limitation: you are not allowed to save or export project files and to calculate projects using more than 8 sources.

If  you want to purchase a ULYSSES license, please contact your Distributor. The Distributors for your country or region can be found on our web-site.
They will be glad to assist you .

By purchasing a license the Demo-Version will be unlocked to become a fully licensed version.

Licensed ULYSSES User

If you are a licensed user already there are several different scenarios:

Case A  -> You know your License Code

While installing ULYSSES  (Update, etc ) you put in your existing License Code when you are asked for it by the Licensing screen that pops uo after installation.. 
The Folder or Directory where you installed ULYSSES is arbitrary.

The precedent ULYSSES Version will still be working.

Case B -> You do not know your License Code and want to install ULYSSES into the same folder where the precedent ULYSSES version resides

You  may install ULYSSES into the same Directory where the precedent ULYSSES version is installed. 

The ulysses.ini file (which has been existing before you start the new installation or update) HAS TO BE IN THE SAME FOLDER/DIRECTORY where the new ULYSSES version ( ude_e.exe) resides.

The precedent ULYSSES Version will still be working and will reside in the same Folder/Directory.

Case C->You do not know your License Code and want to install ULYSSES into the a folder different from that where the precedent ULYSSES version resides

You may, of course, install ULYSSES to another Directory of your choice (on your licensed PC).

Please copy the already existing  ulysses.ini file to the Folder or Directory where the new version of ULYSSES ( ude_e.exe) resides.

The precedent ULYSSES Version will still be working and will reside in the same Folder/Directory.

Please Note:

Licensing is uniquely processd for your PC, Lap-Top, Notebook and Hard-Disk.

The corresponding license code is only valid for the computer it has been processed for.

You license is stored in the ulysses.ini and unlocks the demo version to become the fully licensed version.

You may install as many copies of ULYSSES on you computer as you like using the same license code. This is sometimes very helpful for multiple project or multiple  project variation over night calculation, or lunch-break or for comparing different designs of one project on one screen.

Of course you may also also install english and german versions of ULYSSES using the same license.
